Mintimer Shaymiev holds a meeting on construction of multilingual educational complexes in Kazan

On December 17, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaymiev held a meeting on construction of facilities of polylingual educational complexes "Adymnar" in the cities of Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk and the Supplementary Education Centre in Naberezhye Chelny.

Since 2019, on the initiative of Shaymiev, the Revival Regional Foundation together with Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science launched a project to create multilingual educational complexes with education in Russian, Tatar and English. All complexes are united under the name “Adymnar – the pathway to knowledge and harmony”.

The initial project envisaged the establishment of six educational complexes and two out-of-town centres for supplementary education in Tatarstan. The first two complexes - in Yelabuga and Kazan accepted students on September 1, 2020. On September 1, 2021, complexes were opened in Aktanysh and Naberezhnye Chelny. On September 4, 2021, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan State Counsellor launched the construction of Adymnar complexes in Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk. The Supplementary Education Centre has recently been launched in Kazan. At the beginning of the meeting, Shaymiev emphasized that the republic sets the tone for the main directions of the development of the country as a whole, including that in education.

Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Marat Ayzatullin informed about the construction of the facilities of Adymnar polylingual educational complex in Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk. Currently, the construction of both complexes is underway strictly according to the schedule. Building and construction works are at the level of the third floor. The commissioning of the complexes is planned for August 2022.
